スウィートホリワイアンズ Sweet Hollywaiians bio-discography

1920～30年代のスウィング、ハワイアン、ラグタイムを趣向する和製カルテット。堤下功一、松井朝敬、高田進正、中山隆志からなる。2枚のミニ・アルバムとフル・アルバム『Hula Girl』がある。またTOM MARION and his Sweet Hollywaiians名義で『恋する楽士』と石川優美とのコラボ・アルバム『Maile Swing』などがある。オムニバス『ウクレレNOW』『ベスト・ヒットUKE』にも参加。2008年には米国西海岸ツアーを敢行。2009年7月には2nd Album『Ticklin’ the Strings 』 をリリース。

Qui bio-discography

1993-2004　東京にて林隆史(ギター)を中心にトリオ編成で結成。ソフト・マシン、キング・クリムゾン、マイルス・ディヴィスなど、影響を受けたアーティストのカヴァー、研究をしながらオリジナル楽曲の作曲を開始。ライブ活動と並行して音源制作を続ける（この時期の音源は後にPOSEIDON Records傘下のVital Recordsより発表）。 2005-2006 林隆史が渋谷OBIで行われたジャムセッションで吉川弾(ドラムス)と出会い、瀬戸尚幸(ベース)が加わり、新しいトリオQuiが再始動。 しかし、トリオ編成に限界を感じていた林は吉田一夫(フルート)を巻き込みQuiをカルテットとする。 旧編成の音源を「Prelude」としVital Recordsから200枚限定発売。 2007　フルレンスアルバムのレコーディングを開始。途中、井谷享志(パーカッション)が加入。精力的にライブを行う。 2008　1stアルバム「Qui」をPOSEIDONより発表。某プログレッシブロックチャートで年間1位を獲得。オムニバス「Jap's Progre」に1曲参加。 2009　DVD「Qui Super Live」を発表。9月にはアメリカのノースカロライナ州で行われたロックフェス「Prog Day」に参加。 2010　2月、BS日テレの音楽番組に出演。maze、kasumiotoshiの2曲を演奏。9月に2ndアルバムのレコーディングを開始。11月にはイタリアのAlex Carpani Bandを招いてジョイントライブを決行。ライヴCD-R（Hoy-Hoy Records）を発表。 2011　井谷享志(パーカッション)脱退。佐藤真也(ピアノ、キーボード)が加入。12月5日に大塚ウェルカムバックにて復活ライブを収録し、ライヴCD-Rを発表（Hoy-Hoy Records）。 2012　Hoy-Hoy Recordsより2ndアルバム『2』4月発売予定。

わたなべゆう bio-discofraphy

2004年にソロ活動を開始。ほぼ毎日5～8時間の演奏をストリートで行い、2005年6月に1stCD『うきわ』を発表。2010年までに6作のアルバムをリリース。最新のアルバム『くまのマク』では絵本と音楽のコラボレーションに挑んだ。現在は年間２５０本以上のライブ＆ストリートを行うとともに、ラジオやテレビでも幅広く活動。あいのり、ＳＭＳＰ×ＳＭＡＰなどのテレビ番組で彼の音楽が使われている。
