【アコースティック・スィング】

ロサンジェルスを拠点に活動する歌姫ジャネット・クラインは1998年『カム・イントゥ・マイ・パーラー』でデビュー。「ウクレレを抱いたなぞの美女」が奏でる音楽は1920から30年代のオールド・タイム・ミュージック。夢見るようなセピア色に包まれた彼女のアルバムは2000年に入るとアコースティック・スウィング・ファンから絶大な支持を得て、08年までに6作品を数えるほどの人気を博した。日本公演も2001年を皮切りに04年、08年と続いている。
